Well Done

This is a great iPhone app. It does what I want a mobile flight planning application to do—calculate distances, times, and headings for multi-leg flights. I also use the weight and balance calculator and graphing feature for quick what ifs.

My favorite feature is its ability to store multiple trip plans. I love having my favorite flown, will fly, and wish I could fly trip plans with me wherever I am. It’s great for hangar flying, too. When someone asks how far it is to wherever, the answer is only seconds away. I used the Palm OS version until getting my iPhone. The iPhone version is one step better because I don’t have to run to the airplane or the car to get the PDA out of my flight bag to look up the answer.

I recommend this app. If you’re still trying to decide, read the application description in the iTunes store and go to the seller’s web site to read more and watch the movie. It does what the seller says it does; there are no marketing fibs in his descriptions.
